SOTP: November 2016

seveninchesOkay, I feel like one of these is due. It's been a few months and things with me have changed quite a bit, so here we go.
State of Me: Things are not good, but I think they're going to be eventually. Everyone has probably seen that I've been a bit of an emotional wreck on twitter lately, but basically the boyfriend of four years and I broke up. This would be one thing in and of itself but we've also lived together for three years so it means dividing up a house, breaking a lease, both of us finding new places to live, and dividing up all of our stuff. It's not fun, but we're getting through it more or less. It also means that I've had to move home and in with my dad, but he lives about an hour away from where I work. This means early mornings leaving home and getting home from work really late, which is going to impact how much time I have.
All of this said, I am really keen to get back into rp, both for the distraction of it, and because I've missed it. I had October off so I'm really eager to get back in and get some threads happening asap.
Now the kids:
ISABELLE LIGHTWOOD
Recent: Isabelle is in a pretty good place right now. She has a steady job and a steady boyfriend and an ever expanding support network of friends and family. She is very excited and wanting to help plan Luke and Spencer's wedding, and has already insisted on dressing at least one of them for the occasion. This is pretty big for Isabelle because it gives her a chance to see a marriage between her Darrow parents work way better than her actual parents, so she's basically banking on it to restore her faith in the entire concept (no pressure, guys).
alt!Isabelle was horrible to everyone she knows so she will be spending this month trying to make sure no bridges are burned. She doesn't think they will be, but conversations probably need to be had, especially with Billy, to explain that her other self doesn't share her views. She also met an Alec that hated her, which stings a lot for Izzy, so she's going to need some Lightwood bonding time.
Future: Canon update for Izzy is imminent. I just want to get my head around a couple more things but more than likely next month. This will, inevitably, lead to her learning that back home her brother died and that she was the last person to see him/fail to protect him, so she's not going to handle it very well. I obviously need to talk to some people and how this might affect other pups, so I'll get to that once I have things a little more concrete.
Other than that she is totally open to suggestions. I will probably EP her sometime this month, I think it's been months since she last had one.
MATTHEW
Recent: In their last thread together, Matthew, Matthias & Dutch finally stopped beating around the bush and decided that they all want to be together, but since I've been away we haven't really been able to play the fallout. But, he's happier than he thinks he has any right to be, and he's mostly just enjoying spending time with them. Other than that he's still working happily at the stables and in all honesty doesn't have a lot going on.
Future: No solid plans, I'd like him to get out a bit more though. He has a couple of people who he is sort of on good terms with but not close friends which I'd love to get to explore a bit more. I'd love to do more with his abilities but I don't really have any solid ideas on where or what I want that to go. Open to suggestions!
NATHAN DRAKE
Recent: idk, human train wreck, as per usual. Look at this idiot. Nate's not doing a lot of anything except making poor decisions with Coop and bumming around. He had no alternate version during the breach, and instead just got to witness a bunch of his friends turning weird. He got arrested and locked up in Darrow 2 so he's still feeling a bit bitter towards Officer Cooper and will probably tell Coop he's a dick. Other than that he's not got a lot going on.
Future: I find Nate the easiest of my pups to write so I always want to play him. He probably needs a job at some point and to start being a functioning citizen but I have no idea what respectable job he could possibly hope to get. Maybe something in antiquities. I also would love for him to meet more people and make some more friends instead of just bugging Coop and Beth all the time, even though he loves them both dearly. I am also still 100% willing to bribe anyone to bring him a canonmate, particularly Sam or Elena. I don't think I could ever ship Nate with anyone else so someone needs to bring him an Elena so that he doesn't spend his entire existence in Darrow alone lmao.
There was brief talk about him getting into some shenanigans with Ronan and even if not that exactly I'd love to expand on it??? Nate has a long history of getting into trouble because of things he shouldn't be touching/stealing, so if anyone has any ideas that would be cool. Plus it might give him something exciting to do otherwise he'll end up braiding people's hair soon.
RAVEN REYES
Recent: alt!Raven was a Grounder and basically scared all of her friends, so Raven has some work to do to assure them all she speaks English again and won't stab them. She's still happily working at West's Garage, she loves her job and you can find her there pretty much most of the time. She also inherited a motorbike that I haven't done anything with yet, her and Sirius probably need to have street races soon. Mostly she's been spending her time third wheeling it with Clarke and Bellamy, but she's also made some really sweet and fun friendships in Demelza and Sirius which I adore, and she's just so happy to be here and not where she was, so.
Future: She needs to meet Demelza and Ross's baby, obvs. She probably should meet Ross. I'd love for her to branch out and make some other friends. I'm also intrigued as to what the various people with different abilities/magic/etc could potentially do for her leg but Raven would both be incredibly eager and very reluctant to do anything about it, so.
Lincoln has just arrived so she will definitely be meeting him and having a bunch of things from home stirred up again, most of which she'd been trying to bury and forget, so that will be good. Having him here is going to be really interesting for her on a couple of levels so I'm excited.
POTENTIALS:
As for future pups, there are a few things in the works. I have a completed app that I'm really excited about for a certain James Potter, just waiting on November reqs at this stage, so hopefully that will be sent in soon. I am SO excited, it's ridiculous.
Nina Zenik is still kicking around in my head but I've back benched her again (sorry Nina) because I keep feeling like I won't do her justice and other voices keep being louder than her in my head. I have taken her off reserve and please by all means if anybody else wants her go for it, I hold no actual claim because at this rate I will never app her, lawd.
I also always have Nowhere Boy's version of a young John Lennon yelling things at me but that one is tricky and also borderline, so I usually push him to the back. MAYBE ONE DAY.
